Who We Are
Women Helping Women (WHW) is a global ,and award winging not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering women, and girls through education, entrepreneurship ,STEM ,Skills acquisition, and micro -grants for start up Buisness which is vital for creating a sustainable change that enhances their economic statues ,and strengthens their voice in the society . By providing access to resources ,and opportunities to help women ,and girls build confidence, develop essential skills and ultimately contribute to their communities.

Mental Health Support
Mental well-being is vital for healing and resilience. Our mental health support groups create a judgment-free space where women can discuss anxiety, depression, trauma, and other challenges.
Financial Independence
Financial empowerment is key to long-term security.
Food Security
Access to nutritious food is fundamental to well-being. Many women in our network face food insecurity due to financial hardships, lack of access, or unstable living conditions.
Domestic Violence Support
No woman should have to face violence alone. We provide a confidential, supportive environment for women through:
- Safe Spaces: Monthly meet-ups where women can share their experiences and support one another in a secure environment.
- Counselling and Advocacy: Access to professional counsellors who specialize in trauma and domestic violence, offering one-on-one sessions and advocating for victims’ rights.
- Legal Advice: Information sessions with legal experts to guide women through their options for protection and independence.
- Housing Support: We connect women experiencing domestic violence to shelters and other housing resources, ensuring they have access to safe and stable living arrangements.
Mental Health Support
Mental well-being is vital for healing and resilience. Our mental health support groups create a judgment-free space where women can discuss anxiety, depression, trauma, and other challenges. We offer:
- Support Groups: Monthly gatherings where women can discuss mental health issues, learn from each other, and build a supportive community.
- Workshops and Seminars: Education on mental health awareness, coping strategies, mindfulness, and stress management.
- Therapist Referrals: Connections to licensed therapists who provide tailored mental health services, ensuring women have the support they need.
Financial Independence
Financial empowerment is key to long-term security. Our initiatives include:
- Financial Literacy Workshops: Education on budgeting, saving, investing, and understanding credit, led by financial experts.
- Career Counseling: Monthly sessions aimed at career development, resume building, job search strategies, and interview preparation.
- Microfinance and Grants: Opportunities for women to start or expand small businesses through small loans or grants, fostering economic self-sufficiency.
Food Security
Access to nutritious food is fundamental to well-being. Many women in our network face food insecurity due to financial hardships, lack of access, or unstable living conditions. We address this need by:
- Community Gardens: Organizing and supporting garden projects where women can grow their own food, learn about sustainable agriculture, and share their harvest.
- Food Education: Workshops on nutrition, cooking on a budget, and meal planning to help women make the most of their resources.
- Food Pantry Access: Partnerships with local food banks and pantries to provide emergency food supplies when needed.
